 Clean your jewelry with a soft cloth before putting it away, this will remove oils picked up from your skin throughout the day and help prevent tarnish.

Do not put your jewelry on until after you have gotten fully dressed and already applied cosmetics, hairspray, perfumes, lotions and any other harsh chemicals. Over time, these can break down the elements that keep your jewelry strong and durable.

Do not sleep in your jewelry. Doing so causes unecessary stress on each component and makes your pieces more susceptible to break.

Remove your jewelry before completing household chores. Harsh cleansers can be very harmful to the overall luster and strength of your jewelry.

Avoid wearing your jewelry while swimming, showering or during physical exercise.

When storing your jewelry, store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Keep each piece separated to avoid tangling and scratching. I recommend storing each piece in its own zip top bag with the air completely squeezed out.

Avoid anything containing the following chemicals: alcohol, ammonia, bleach, chlorine and acetone.
